What are Bumkins snack bags made from?

Soft & Hard-working: Like Mom, Bumkins’ signature waterproof fabric is both soft and strong. Tough enough for daily use and easy to wash, it stands up to messes big and small.

Waterproof & Wipeable: Our signature fabric is 100% polyester with a waterproof coating embedded into the fabric. This makes our products wipeable, machine washable, and easy to rinse and dry after use.

Safety Tested: We rigorously test all of our products to ensure they meet all safety standards set by the CPSIA, fabric included. Additionally, our fabric has been third-party tested and achieved OEKO-TEX® Certification! Read more about OEKO-TEX® below.

Reusable: Our fabric is meant to be durable, meaning you’ll be able to reuse our products over and over again. We won’t call out names, but we have known families to hand our bibs down over a few kids, they’re that long-lasting. Colors stay bright through hundreds of washes, so only you’ll know how long you’ve had a product.

Light & Breathable: Our signature fabric is actually fabric, not plastic, so it allows for air to flow freely. And by embedding the waterproofing into the fabric, we don’t have to add layers of protection, keeping things light.

Machine Washable: We want to make life easier for parents, so products made from our signature material can be washed in the washing machine. To extend the life of the product, we suggest hanging products to dry. If you live in a climate with high humidity, you can even pop the products in the dryer to make sure they’re completely dry.
