Sinchies 150ml Reusable Food Pouches

It’s easy as 1-2-3!

* Ensure the lid is tightly fastened & you’re ready to go!

* Open the pouch at the ziplock bottom gusset,  expand it to making it easier to fill.  Hold open by squeezing the bottom keeping it open.

* Use a 1 litre Sinchies reusable food pouch or a funnel to fill your Sinchies pouch. Continue pouring your scrumptious food up to the “fill to here” line on the pouch.

When sealing the top ziplock, widen the bottom gusset with two fingers to help ensure your contents doesn’t spill out the top.

Washing your pouches is a cinch with warm soapy water and  a cleaning brushes

Some customers like to wash their pouches out, shake out the excess water and put them straight into the freezer to snap lock the freshness.

Freezer safe, free from BPA, Phthalate and PVC, these ‘on the run’ food pouches are handy and easy to use.

Our pouches are hardy so you can pour hot food into your Sinchies and wait for it to cool before sealing and storing. To defrost and warm up food, I usually pop my Sinchies into a jug of hot water, shaking it around every minute or so to ensure the contents are heated through evenly.

Where possible we don’t recommend heating any plastic products in the microwave for various reasons. But being a mum I also know that when kids are hungry they’re hungry NOW and taking time to heat pouches in a jug of hot water is not always an option so I have resorted to the microwave on the odd occasion. If you do choose to use one, we recommend using a medium temperature and giving them a shake around every 15 seconds so as not to create hot spots. Heating food in the microwave heats food from the outside in so you often find the edges are really hot but the middle is still cold. If you don’t stop and shake it around you risk damaging the pouch as the food bubbles the sides of the pouch. Please note that using the microwave will reduce the life of your pouches.

Yes! Sinchies pouches are safe to use in the freezer. Cook up a storm and fill all your pouches at once and refrigerate meals in bulk. Storing empty pouches in the freezer is also a great way to prevent mould if pouches aren’t thoroughly dried properly, especially in humid climates.

* Fold the side seals together (so the bottom gusset and zip-lock stay open) and pop them over the prongs in your dish rack.

* Get a short glass & some spoons or chopsticks. Please the utensils in the glass, pop each Sinchies pouch over one & they’ll dry in no time!

* Use a round peg hanger

* Or once they’ve been washed given them a shake and place them in the freezer.

Support the bottom of the pouch with your hand and using a bottle brush make a twisting motion to get right down to the bottom of the pouch.  Rinse thoroughly with running water  or place on the top shelf of the dishwasher.

We can’t say exactly how long Sinchies last as everyone uses them for different things and take care of them in different ways. We have had some customers using the same batch for years and some only for six months as they’ve constantly been heating the pouches, freezing them and washing them in the dishwasher (please note, we do not recommend putting pouches through the dishwasher). Generally we say six months is a good life.
